Only a week left until the private view of my exhibition of portraits from around the globe. I will be spending the next few days curating the exhibition at the gallery.
It has been a fantastic and enlightening journey interacting with people from different continents and I am looking forward to sharing the stories and pictures with you.
Details of the exhibition are below:
I had a portrait session with The Mynabirds front woman, singer-songwriter, pianist, artist extraordinaire earlier this week on the launch day of the band's new album, Lovers Know.
Laura is so characterful and gregarious and she was an absolute joy to photograph.
I will be bringing you more music portraits later in the year and my new website will launch soon.
Here are some of my favourites from the shoot at the Old Blue Last in Shoreditch:
I spent the afternoon photographing the poet on a sunny day in Bermondsey, South London. We spoke about education, specific requirements of students in particular areas of London and about the impact our roles have had on various students we have taught.
Anthony Anaxagorou is an award-winning, published poet. He has and continues to work with poetry organisations such as (London based) Apples and Snakes and Chill Pill. Anthony has made several radio and TV appearances where he talks knowledgeably and passionately about racism, war and religion.

Here are some of my favourites from the session:
I spent a week in Cape Town a few weeks ago (shortly after returning from an epic three month trip in south and central America). I must admit, the main focus of the trip was to sample the culinary offerings of the city. Time was spent in top restaurants as the Test Kitchen, The Pot Luck Club and La Mouette, with the latter being my favourite.
I found the people to be so interesting and friendly. I will be exhibiting travel portraits from 2007-2015 later this year in London.
Here is a selection of my favourite portraits:
Had a fantastic shoot this afternoon with Izzy and Paul near the cathedral in St Albans. The weather was up and down but we managed to have a great time. Here's a version of my favourite shot from the day.
It was great to photograph the singer/songwriter in Shoreditch today. I decided to shoot in one of my favourite cafés in the area.
